Hi, This morning I woke up and my computer had restarted. I normally leave my compter running over night, downloding. When I went to logon again, it loaded for about 2 seconds and then restarted. This happens everytime I try it, but sometimes it actually loads the start bar, but eventually it will restart. Ive also tried starting up in safe mode, nothing happens, it just crashes during the loading screen. This has never happend before, and has just suddenly happened unexpectedly. Please help, If you need anymore info please ask.

You leave your PC downloading all night? Does it have a good secure firewall?

Does Windows XP have Scandisk that you can run by booting up to the command prompt / recovery console instead of Safe Mode?
