Do you have the Recovery Disks?

Just as a long shot you can try a System Restore back "2 weeks ago" before problems started.

You could possibly get the resource cd by going here:
Dell - Support
Choose the Operating System Reinstall option under the Request Reason.
This can only be done once per system.
So if its been done before you will be unable to do it.
