Please Help!

I have recently installed windows XP on my PC. Everything is working fine apart from when I connect anything to my usb drive. When I do this the picture freezes. If I plug in my memory stick before I start up my PC it works alright, but not if I plug it in whilst it is up and running.

Can someone please advise me on what to do.

When you say: "I connect anything to my usb drive." Do you mean your USB port or hub?

Verify that you have Plug & Play started & set to Automatic under Services under Administrative Tools.
