Regsvr32 Problem
Hey Guys, Im New To This Forum, And I Signed Up Because I've Been Havin Problems. A Couple Days Ago, I Restarted My PC, And I Found It Was Lagging Horribly Every Couple Of Seconds. The File RegSvr32 Keeps Opening And Closing, And I Guess Thats Whats Causing The Lag. I Don't Know Much About Computers, But This Is Really Bothering Me. If You Have Any Ideas, It Would Sure Mean A Lot. Thanks,

It would help us help you if you mentioned your Windows version when asking questions, also is this a new problem or is this an ongoing issue? Have you installed any new hardware or software recently. Have you ran your anti-virus software. Have you tried Adaware or Spybot Search and Destroy?

I Am Running Windows Xp Home Edition, And This Is A New Problem. The Only Anti-Spyware Program I Have Run Is SpySweeper. And I Haven't Installed Anything New Recently.
EDIT: Im Running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 ( Build 2600 )
2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
8 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

OK Thanks, first lets rule out spyware, or a virus. Please download, install, update and run both programs I mentioned in my earlier reply. After taking care of that see if the problem is resolved. If not run a couple of on-line virus scans ( be sure to disable your AV software when running on-line scans)
Panda Active Scan
Trend Micro House Call
Symantec Security Check
Please give this a try and let us know if it doesn't help

That Took Care Of Most Of The Lag, Theres Still A Couple Of Those Pesky Spyware Programs Running, But Im Sure A Few More Scans Will Take Care Of That. I Really Appreciate Your Time And Concern, And If I Have Anymore Problems This Is The First Place I'll Stop By. Thanks!
