Hello.
I have a few items that i have uninstalled but they still appear in the installed programs list.
when i click remove it states that the program does not exist but how can i remove it from the list?

To remove the application entry from Add/Remove Programs open regedit and navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

and find the folder for the application. Delete the folder.

Many thanks,worked a treat on all exept one (NERO FAST CD BURNER PLUG IN)which i cannot locate,any ideas where it might be hiding ??

Maybe do a search from the start menu for Nero.

Maybe in I.E. Tools | Manage Add-ons... |

Also this is a good little Registry Cleaner (among other tools) which may find it:
