I recently have been having a problem with opening my webpage from my laptop. It keeps on showing the above error but not on other webpages from other websites.
The strange thing is that I have no problem opening the page from other computer or if I'm using my webhosting address.
I have no problem accessing other websites but not my own website. FYI, my website account is still new and will expire in two years time.
Can anyone please tell me what's the problem and how to solve it?
Thanks
This Post is the only thing a quick search pulls up.
Are you sure that you haven't blocked your site in a security setting & or your firewall & or blocked your isp address from the site![]()
You say "recently" so can we assume that at one point all this was working ok?
Thanks for the suggestions. Have checked, everything is ok.
The issue is I have no problem at all accessing other websites but I just cannot open my website i.e www.1giftsmalaysia.com
If I used the webhosting i.e www.eonenet.com/members/roslan/home.php3- I am able to access it. Have checked with the host and they think it's my pc problem.
What's the problem and how to solve it?

Just to clarify:
You only have this problem from this one laptop?
Were you ever able to reach http://www.1giftsmalaysia.com/ from this laptop?
Is there any difference if rather than clicking the link you paste it into your address bar & Go?
Have tried as you suggested but still did not work.

Also if you are using IE I suggest trying Firefox just to eliminate IE as the source of error.
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
During setup it will ask if you want to Import IE Settings: DENY this request.
What are the negative implications of me switchiing to firefox? Will this definitely help solve my problem. What if it doesn't can I switch back to IE? As far as possible, i do not want to switch to other browser unless that is causing the problem.
Thanks
First off the awnser to these questions would be enlightening.
Firefox is just another program. You can download it & remove it at will. It has nothing to do with IE (although you can share settings & favorites). You can run either or or both at the same time. You can remove Firefox with a click. You only have this problem from this one laptop?

What it will do is let you know if IE is the problem. If Firefox will connect then we can say IE is the problem & look further there. If you cannot connect thru either browser then we can say it is the laptop or your settings at your site.
