    Reclaiming HD space

i have a 250 GB HD but the version of windows xp i installed only supported 137 GB HD's so thats all i formated when i first set up my machine. Now that i have put SP1 on my machine it should be able to support the full 250 GB of my drive yet i cant seem to find a way to do this without reformating the entire drive... Does anyone know how i can do this without having to reformat the whole drive? Cause i dont think that would work anyway since my windows version doesnt support 250 GB HD's...
    Thanx a million!

If you had set an original partition to install XP to you could then have allocated the remaining space.

You could still do this with third party partition software.

    or perhaps:

How to enable 48-bit Logical Block Addressing support for ATAPI disk drives in Windows XP

    Hope this helps.
