I installede a new secondary hard Drive as cable select on the cable my CD rom is on. It shows up in the BIOS and the Device manager window. However it does not show up in my computer as a drive. How do I get to the drive?

It needs to be formatted.

In Control Panel go to Administrative Tools and then to Computer Management
then to "Disk Management".

Right click the area to the right of the Drive letter & choose Format.
