Is there a way to set brightness setting with Windows XP home edition?? On win 2000 pro there was a way to set brightness settings right in the program. Monitor is set as bright as it will go and it is still very dark. Thanks!!

Have you looked via: Control Panel | Display | Settings (& perhaps Advanced)?

The Advanced settings are usually dependant upon your graphics card.

Have you tried the monitor settings set to Auto?

These settings are usually set by the monitor & not Windows tho perhaps your grapics card has options.

Thanks for your reply... yes have checked in the display settings.. advanced. But have not checkecked to see if there is an auto setting on monitor. Will do that thanks.
