I have just installed XP, with a new m/b MSI KT6V, althuogh i dont think that that is important, but it does have sound inputs and outputs on it
but heres the prob,

After installing XP, i went to play some music.........no sound,
I had a look at the sound properties and all the boxes are "greyed out" is there a way i can get these back?

if anyone helps me, it is greatly appreciated,

Hello Teddy, you will need to install the driver for your onboard sound. You should be able to find it at the motherboard manufactures website in the support and drivers section. HTH
