please can you tell me why a white box with blue heading called "SAME" appears almost daily on my desktop and also on my daughters laptop.

Yes it deletes ok but returns shortly afterwards

Have you downloaded any screensavers?

Do you use a screensaver?

Try clicking the Read Only box in Properties & then delete.

If it comes back download this little app. & have it delete that file.

Thanks again-have used the delete appplication but it just keeps coming back.Also checked the read only box.

Can you remember the first time you saw this?

Did it perhaps coincide with downloading a screen saver?

Do you run an Anti Virus? Firewall? Spyware programs?

I would suggest running these:

Malicious Software Removal Tool

HouseCall

And also please follow owen's Instructions and then post your log in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section (Not Here).
