My sister in law has just had some really bad problems with someon hijacking her computer ( one of them being a phonebill that was £250 more than it should have been!!). She has just installed windows xp pro. I have windows xp home sp2 and I have a security centre in my control panel. She has not yet installed sp2 but she does not have a security centre to check for her firewall. She has not yet installed her anti-virus. Can anyone tell me why she doesn't have a security centre please?

Security Center is only on XP machines with SP2.

The firewall is available in Pro however.

Right click the connection then click properties then advanced.
