    Sorry for just more questions but is it just a single computer on this network having this problem?

    Is the service set to Automatic?

    Will continue to search this... btw a shortcut to start this is from a cmd promt
    start/run/cmd type: net start spool

    Also perhaps:
    Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

    To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
    and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
    right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

    Yes it is a single computer having this problem, and the service is set to automatic. Will try the regedit to see if it works.
