Help!

I have deleted primary partition on hard disk - couldn't then format due to Bad Command or File Name messages.

Re-created Partition...poss inadvisably...but would still like to format and re-install windows. For some reason it cannot do it from setup program so i'm trying to do it manually but am getting the "Invalid Media Type..." message.

Any clues over what I should do?

That error indicates you were trying to run format FROM the c: drive.
"invalid media type reading drive x" means the partition and logical drive
are present, but the format is not.
