Hi guys!Yesterday I was messing around with my registry editor (bad idea) and by accident I erased some keys in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer file.Since then I get this annoying messages " requires Internet Explorer 5.5" . Is there anywhere I can find this keys i've erased or do I need to install the explorer again.Thanx!!

Please post a HijackThis log to the forum.

Launch HijackThis, then press Scan, and press Save Log.

This will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.

Open that file.
Go to Edit | Select all
Now click Edit | copy to copy it.

Do not change anything just yet.

I've did an adaware check and I found some worms and trojans.I 've deleted them but no help at all.Also Norton doesn't work properly thanx!!

Restart HijackThis and put checks next to the following, close all browser windows (including this one) then click on 'Fix Checked':

Make sure you have Set Windows to show Hidden Files & Folders, then reboot intosafe mode then find and delete:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\winproc32.exe <-------Delete this file.

Download, update and run
CWShredder
Click Fix, don't just scan. Let it fix everything it asks about.

Go to Windows Update and scan then download ALL of the critical updates.

Post a fresh log when you're done and tell us if you still have issues.
