Strange message after turning on PC

    Hi everybody,

when I switch on my PC, I always get the message:

WARNING: Immediately back-up your data and replace your hard-disk drive.
    A failure may be imminent.
Press F1 to continue DEL to enter SETUP.

I always press F1 and my PC comes on then. But there must be something wrong or I won't get this message. I'm a complete beginner, so I haven't got a clue what to do. Can you help please?

    Thank you very much
    Marion

    Welcome to D-A-L

What is the make & model of your computer?

Also what is the make of the hard drive?

There are diagnostics available from the manufacturer.

    Here is a list:

You can make a bootable floppy to diagnose your drive.

Let us know if you need help doing that.

Also to get this info you can run this scan:

Post back the info listed under: System Model as well as Drives
