Windows XP doesnt see my 2nd drive which is a data drive. When I run repair from the CD it asks for the admin password - I didnt set one and it will not let me in.
WhenI put the drive in another pc it can be read.
Anyone know what is going on?

Are you sure the jumpers are set right for the configuration you are using? (Presumably slave on the Primary cable?)

Is the drive seen in the BIOS?

When you attempt to enter the Recovery Console (by pressing R at the setup screen it is normal that a password is asked for. If none was set then pressing Enter should pass.
This is totally different from a Repair Installation. Just BTW what were you hoping to acheive via the Recovery Console?
