    IE local host error?

I am having trouble accessing a friend's website and any I can't see any images he uses on my forum.I get a red x for all images and action cancelled for his site. http://pagitta.com/
This only started yesterday. I have done a system restore, updated java and macromedia. Cleaned temp internet files, emptied prefetch, run chkdsk and hijack this.
The only strange thing I've found is windows explorer is constantly trying to access local host in Zone Alarm Pro. It's like its working its way through every port available trying to access the local host. Any ideas?
I have also tried command ping and tracert. They appear to run but the box disappears before i can read if they were successful.

I can see his site plus his images on yours.

Have you made any changes to ZA or IE options since yesterday?

Just as a 1st test you could disable ZA & see what happens. Just to see if the problem lays within ZA.

Tried that jephree and its no different with ZA on or off. No changes that I can think of. I did have cmd32.exe asking to access the net though ZA this morning.

Yep did that this morning and ran scan. Just downloaded and ran Spyhunter as well and came up clean.

Here is the new microsoft tool (fwiw)

    Malicious Software Removal Tool

Is it just this one site that is experiencing problems?

Curious that it is not only the site but the input on yours.

Have you varified that that cmd32.exe file has been removed from your machine? Search?

Yep just this one site so far and explorer trying to access constantly. Yes I searched and it is gone. I think I've run every av and trojan program available.
MS one just came up clean too.

Just to check: Have you rebooted after these changes you've tried?

My searching skills are running flat on this one; sorry

Yep rebooted several times. I know what you mean, I've been doing the rounds all day trying to figure this out. Repair IE maybe?

How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP

The first suggestion in that link is to run sfc /scannow

I still find it very strange that it is just this one site that is a problem.

Perhaps one of the D-A-L geniuses will wake up soon
