When I shut down my PC after being on line I get a screen that reads do not unplug or turn off your computer. It will shut down after installing updates 1..2.. Well I let it alone and after 24 hours it's still saying the same thing and has not intalled the updates. I turned it off then everytime I use it it does the same thing. By the way I have AOL as my server.

Do you have Automatic Updates enabled?

Try going to Windows Update & manually install any Critical Updates.

What updates? Are these windows updates?
Sounds like spyware to me....... post a hijackthislog on the appropriate board.

There is that AOHELL measure in there to confuse the issue..........

try installing the updates before you turn your pc off
