Hi,

Can anyone help i'm using xp and whenever i run any programs my computer won't shutdown it just hangs. The only way to turn it off is to hold the power button.

If i turn my computer on then off again it shutsdown fine.

I have pretty basic computer knowledge but don't know if anyone can help??
