every game i start playing suddenly freezes i have tried different ways to find out why but unable to find out why

Look in your event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for X errors. Click error line for details. Post back the source & event id especially of errors that seem to coincide with a crash.

have now found event viewer the errors are faulting module excel exe version 8.0.1.5618. fault address 0x0001 fbc 58. also the nvidia wdm a/v crossbar service failed due to error .The nvidia wdm video capture (universal) service failed to start either because it is disabled or because it has no enable device associated with it these are the only errors i can find i dont know if this is the reason why it keeps crashing

Check the Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager for any "!" Look under Display Adapters as well as Sound, video, & game controllers.

Also check dxdiag by clicking Start then in the Run box type: dxdiag
Look under the general tab for DirectX version. What is it?
Also check the Display tab. Is this working properly? Is 3D enabled?

What is the exact nVidia card & what is the driver ID?
