My computer goes into power saving mode usually 5-10 minutes after I start it up. This just started 2-3 days ago, and I have never had this problem before. I can't do anything to my computer after it goes into power saving mode except turn it off. Is there a way I can disable this from happening??

If you settings in the Control Panel are alright, you may need a new power supply. My computer used to restart itself, go dormant and not respond to anything, or turn itself on a few minutes after I had shut it off. Power supplies are one of the cheaper components of a computer. It might be software, but try a new power supply first, unless formatting your hard drives wouldn't be a problem.
