Possible virus? I'd suggest a hijack this log posted in the appropriate forum

Change this setting in order to get full error messages & post back in full.

rt. click My Computer then click Properties then Advanced then Startup and Recovery Settings then unclick Automatically restart

Also: look in your event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for X errors. Click error line for details. Post back the source & event id especially of errors that seem to coincide with a crash.

ok, so i done the auto restart thing, thanks for that! and as far as the errors go, there is a lot of them!

most of the errors in the application tab seem to be application error, system id 1000 this particular application is called anti copy.exe, i havent got a clue what this app is???!!! a lot of them are internet explorer aswell though, however this didnt bother me that much cos i am currently using mozilla firefox.

in the system tab there is a couple of one-offs:

    DCOM, event 10010 and
    ntfs, event 55
    irevents, event 8205

    but most of them are:
    Service control manager, 7034/7031/7023
    System error, event 1003

thanks a lot btw, i hope u can sort this out
    phil

    seeing this:

    copy.exe (Salga.a Worm) - Details

    I would suggest this:

please follow owen's Instructions and then post your log in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section (Not Here).

I will look into those other errors in a bit but they seem benign.

Let us know the full error if you get another Blue Screen.
