Angry Error No Language Support Detected

Ok i have had this happen a few times but wierdly it has always seemed to correct itself - this time alas it hasn't .......

I bloody hate that annoying sound of the error message - the thing is in the language options in control panel it looks to me as if all the necessary language options are checked and I am sure this is how i solved the problem last time it happened .

I have tried system restore the lot to no avail - driving me nuts people , any help muchly appreciated .

Win Xp Professional , SP 2

Does this error happen at startup?

Assuming all your options are correct in Regional & Language Options

Maybe check your startup programs via start | run | msconfig | startup

Do you see anything there that is unfamiliar or that might be triggering this?

Also do you run an anti virus & scan? & also: adaware; spybot; etc. ?
