I still have not managed to back up my files, I have done as I was advised (back up to hard drive) but when it came to put them on cd I was informed that there was not enough space on it to do it. 2.25 GB of information to go on to the cd. I do hope someone out there can help me as I am relatively new to computers and I would not like to lose all my music and pics I have on my poota. : undefined

So you have 2.25 gigs of music and pics? If thats the case just split them up over 3 cd's. Chose what you want on each cd and burn.

If you're doing something different please state what it is.

I get to Write These Files To CD alright , but says "Cannot complete the CD writing wizard" and it gives me no way to put them onto several CD's. What am I doing wrong?!!!!!!!

Make sure you are not trying to copy a bunch of files that have a total size that is bigger than the disc capacity (usually 700MB). Check that your stock is compatable with your CD-burner and check that your burn speed is also suitable to your disc (some will only let you burn upto x4!!!).
XP WILL NOT split the bulk of files up for you. using some basic maths, you can split the bulk up yourself.
