When I install norton anti virus 2005 it plays havoc with my internet connection. I struggle to get on the internet then when i do get on web pages cannot be accessed. The only solution thus far is to disable the software then it works fine is there any other option ? By the way I am using win xp home and aol is my server.

Is it only the anti-virus? or Norton's Firewall?

Norton & AOL have a history of problems.

I see one suggestion to start AOL before starting Norton. You have to manualy configure Norton.

I upgraded from aol 8 to aol 9 and that seems to have solved the problem for now thanks
