When I rip a copy it puts itin a folder called fresh tracks and not under the composers name as it usd to.
I cant drag and drop to the right folder either

using xp,and I think media player 5
cant remember how to find which version I have of media player or other stuff

I would suggest upgrading your media player:

Windows Media Player 10

But first I would suggest checking your system with HijackThis.
Your IE problem is very symptomatic of malware issues.
