    Unhappy MS Office 2000 Problem

When I type "ACN" (W/out Qts) Word changes it to "CAN". acn to can. I can type past the ACN (Now CAN) & then go back highlite it and retype ACN and that seems to work, as anoying as it is.
    "AutoCorrect Exceptions" for 'ACN':
    "INitial Caps" Leaves it ACn
"Other Corections" Leaves it lower case only. i.e. "acn"

    Same thing in Excel.

I have tried to find an "Office Forum", but yet to find one.

    TIA, 1

    Thanks Bear,

Got it fixed at "Tek-Tips Forums" http://www.tek-tips.com/

    For Others:
    By Dreamboat (Instructor)
    Go to Tools-Autocorrect.

    Find the entry for acn.
    DELETE IT.

Create a NEW entry for acn
Have it correct it with ACN.

I clicked on the "acn" entry and overwrote can with ACN. It is working great now and in Excel too.

    Thanks again & PTL! \0/, 1
