when i go to boot windows it comes up in DOS

'Press home key to boot from Local drive'

i tried newly installing windows and when it restarts it just starts the instasllation again and again.

i tried putting my mates hard drive in my computer with windows pre installed and i just got the same message

please help!

Whats your Boot order?

Is this a new computer? Or did it have an Operating System on it already?

If so what OS?

Are you booting an XP Disk?

What type of XP CD are you using?
