greetings Smee03
this is a known spyware issue
please follow owen's Instructions and then post your log in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
you can get some idea of it from the last post in this thread:
http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/dr_w...gger-t9246.html
but I would recommend posting your log in the log section & wait for a reading there.

just a quick question. this dr watson doesnt seem to be spyware tho. when i run this application ( it is in my /system ) it says no faults detected copyright 1991-1995 microsoft corp. and one time it showed an error that happen with my windows media player after it crashed.

Dr Watson is a legitimate "program" dealing with errors & dump logs.
Description of the Dr. Watson for Windows (Drwtsn32.exe) Tool
It has also been the target of "spy/ malware" apps.
Just to check it out I would suggest posting a HijackThis Log down in that section for reading.
You may also want to look in your Event Viewer for errors:
event viewer: rt. click My Computer then click Manage then Event Viewer.
Open the system as well as the application tabs & look for X errors. Click error line for details. post back the source & event id especially of errors that seem to coincide with a crash.

I seem to have almost 100 x's that are application hangs and errors. all the x's are from 1000-1002, except for a few 11, and one 100 error.
for the system i have many errors in 7023 (service control manager), 8032 (Browser), 7000 (service control manager) and a coupe 20 (windows update agent) - some of the service control managers have to do with my ATI card (ATI WDM TV TUNER-i had to reinstall its drivers before)..which crashes everytime i play a game.

Here is a site/ tool that will help you decipher those errors:
http://www.eventid.net/search.asp
I would still suggest:
following owen's Instructions and then post your log in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
Also run check disk:
start > run > cmd
in the new window type chkdsk/f
when prompted to run on boot choose Y & reboot
this will check for & fix any disk errors.
