    Help me PLease:)

Hey im not very smart with computer but i pretty much know what im doing!

OK i need some help we just got a brand new computer made for us and we also purchased a 17 inch LCD screen to. We have had the computer for about 2 weeks now and all of a sudden its not working as well as it was before.. The computer guy cant come out to next week but i was wondering if someone could just give me some advice with a couple of little problems.

Ok i have checked all the points and everything is plugged in prooperly.. My son has this problem off deleting things and i think this is what he has done on mistake. Ok we have no sound, no video cards? i think he has deleted an actul program. When i turned it on after he was using it came up that we should re-install Multimedia Auto Control? We have no discs for this so does anyone know what it is? or where i could download it from?

Also the other problem is that we cant change the screen resloution! Our intrenet page is HUGE! i tried to change the screen resolution and it just says Input Signal out of range? and it beeps at me..

Could anyone just give me some advice cause it would save me $150 dollars if the computer guy didnt have to come and fix it..

Thanks for ur time much appericated.

First off check the Device Manager under Display Adapters

Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager for any !!

What is the ID of your graphics card? Any yellow "!" ?

    You have no graphics card?

You might want to run this scan & post back results:

    Another option is:

Boot the computer to Safe Mode options (F8 after BIOS) & choose:
    "Enable VGA Mode".
Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Find your graphics card driver package & uninstall.
While in Control Panel, go to System, Hardware, Device Manager.
Expand (Click +) besides Display Adapter,
Right Click your graphics card, Choose Properties, Drivers, uninstall.
Reboot the Machine - It will re-detect your graphics card.
    Then re-install the drivers.
