I can find no precedent to the System Restore phenomenon of switching users.



I can say that the method described in post #18 works for transfering data from one user to another.
It copies this data; does not delete any data.
If, after this test, all goes well, then the old account can be deleted.
Or, if it does not go well, the new account can be deleted.
And then we can try something else.

In my opinion, at this point, this Test is worth a try.
