I went to control panel - date & time to find it had updated successfully at around 1940. I'll delete all bullguard references,. My Norton was 2003 I think; I had just about every Norton product at that time!

I'm away for a week from now so I'll tune in when I get back!

There were no search results for XCOMMSVR.EXE and nothing for Bullguard either.
