Perhaps someone would like to tell me why when I click on the Scan Button, I get directed to the page for checking my PC's content and then directed to Clipboard. I have pasted the details above, but I am not the better for knowing why. When will I be able to take advantage of the Scan available on D.A.L?

It's an online hardware scan, not a virus scanner or spyware/adware scanner. Please accept our apologies for any confusion.
