Exclamation Computer is completly destroyed. Help!

Ok I have a Windows XP Home edition, a few months ago it froze. When i started it back up it showed me a panel with options for starting my computer. Well i tried them all and they all didnt work. So I then tried System Recovery. That froze up. I then went and got the Windows XP CD because mine didn't come with it. Well the CD would get to the Starting up Windows screen then freeze. This also happened with all the other startup choices. I was finally able to be able to create a new thing but my old one is still there. It wont go away and can't be deleted. Does anyone have any idea of how i can Restore my computer to the way it came in the box.

To restore it to the way it came in the box would have been a successful Recovery with the Recovery CD.

Are you saying you purchased another version of XP & now have that installed?

And you desire to remove the original version of XP?

If so; this may help: #20

"I have two installations of XP on the same partition........"

If you have a full version CD of XP it should format (wipe) your drive in the process of installation.

It might be that your OEM recovery is on a hidden partition of your drive.

sorry if I don't completly understand what you are asking but:

This program will run off a floppy & format a drive:

    hope this helps

Ok my computer is broken. I have tried to restore it using System Recovery CDs, the original XP CD. There are 2 versions of XP on it, this one and another that is broken. Whenever I try to start the other one it frezes. Also A black screen appears showing me choices to start it up, each one adventually frezes. So all CDs i put in to fix it in turn freezen. A blue screen sometimes pops up when i run a CD and it it says to run CHKDSK. So i have and nothing is wrong. Does anyone know of some program i could run to get rid of everything and start fresh.

The F-Disk program (above) will format (wipe) your hard drive.

You will need a full version copy of XP to reinstall XP.

This has nothing to do with recovery cd's. It would be a seperate version of XP that you have purchased.

There is also a chance that you could have a hardware problem.

If you would like to post the exact make & model of your computer we might be able to research that.

If you are having problems getting your Full Version XP Disk to run from the CD drive than you can create the 6 disk floppy boot set here:

    http://www.bootdisk.com/

After the floppy setup you will then be asked for your CD to continue.

General Causes of STOP 0x0000007F Errors

The above lists RAM as the most likely problem.

Are you familiar with opening your computer & its' RAM?

Also have you tried the floppy drive?

Also try to run this scan & post the results back here:
