Help please.
When I try to use system restore I get a message saying I can't restore to the date i picked and to try another date.
It seems that no matter which date I pick I get the same message. I've checked the system restore settings and they seem ok.What's going on?
Anybody got any ideas please?

Have you tried the most recent?

Sometimes so much has changed that a restore point is no longer restorable.

If the most recent doesnt work then it would be best to clear all points & let them begin again. You can do this by turning off system restore & then turning it back on.

Let us know if we can help with the problem you are trying to restore from.

Just to add....sometimes viruses and spyware can cause these problems as well. What problems are you having that you need to do a system restore?

I had been messing about trying to get a home network set up then decided it wasn't worth it,so rather than remove all the stuff I had added and moved I thought a restore would be easier.Not the case.I've sorted it now and will cancel previous restore points as you suggest.
