Hi hope someone can help my printer suddenly decided not to work Epson c46 it was working ok connected to usb i tried printer on other computer and it worked okay. i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it is showing a communication error so i tried other devices such as my camera and a usb hub niether worked so i think the problem is with usb ports on my computer.HELP

USB should be ok have you tried turning off the PC and connecting the printer to see if the PC notes New Hardware...and try from there?

Have you looked in the device manager to see if the various usb devices are detected?

Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager

Hi went into manager updated driver in usb controller which showed no driver installed set port in printer properties to usb virtual printer port ,everything now working ok.Thanks for your help .GREAT.
