hello all. after my first copy of windows xp home got messed up, i installed a second copy of xp on the hdd. now i cant access any of the files from my old user account as it is privacy protected and password protected, is there any way of getting into it?

just to clarify: when you say you installed a second copy, do you mean you did a repair install or a clean install of xp?

as far as the password; are you saying you forgot your password?
