Ive posted here before, but this problem deserves an own thread:P
Ive reinstalled windows xp sp2 full retail version on my AMD Athlon 64mb 2,2 gzh, 1gb ram, nvidia nforce3 250gb,with a built-in integrated ethernet card.

But after reinstallation of the pc, windows could not find the ethernet, therefore i cant connect to the internet (im currently typing on my laptop). Ive used all the cds i got from the manufacturer, including nvidia ethernet drivers. But it doesnt work and all that is displayed in the network folder is 1394 and 1394 no. 2. What should i do?

Have you looked under Network Adapters in Device Manager?

Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager
