Having moved my PC and re started Windows loads up and then the monitor
clicks onto standby mode and I have a black screen.
Any suggestions would be welcome!

Can you describe this in more detail please.
Windows loads... then what happens?
Any errors or messages? What are they exactly?
You say: "clicks onto standby mode": the monitor? windows?
Does this mean you have to power off the computer at this point?

Before you moved did you have power options set? Either in the BIOS or Windows?

Can you boot into safe mode options? Tap the F8 key after BIOS POST before Windows loads.
