I tryed add remove in control panel with no luck. It will not give me the option of remove. Then I did a search and tryed Norton's uninstall icon with no luck, it locks up. Next I tryed to delete all Norton Items I found in search. I was able to get rid of some but not all. Can I get rid of the rest and how?

Which version of Norton?

It's Norton antivirus2003.

Did you make sure that nothing Norton was running? via Task Manager.

Also perhaps Safe Mode would be the best way.

This freeware also has an add/ remove function as well as a registry cleaner.

In safe mode I tryed to remove norton antivirus in c\ program files\ norton antivirus. It still will not let me remove it.
I downloaded the program you gave me the link for, in your last post. In the program I put in norton antivirus in FIND IN REGISTRY. I get several items in the registry that say norton antivirus. Do I delete them there? I don't want to mess it up. Should I check the back-up box on the bottom left first?

That backup box should be checked by default & yes always have it checked.

I would first off try to remove from Installed Applications.
