Just wondering if someone can help......
When I go to Add/Remove icon and screen opens up - some programmes do not have the change/remove tabs, therefore I cannot remove programmes. Can anyone help me with instructions on how to get these options back ???

Even when you highlight the program?
Are these programs you have previously uninstalled?
That maybe the issue.
If so one solution is to reinstall then uninstall again.

There is also a registry edit if the program is simply lingering in the list.

go to Start > Run > regedit

First click the File button then Export.
Send to "My Documents"
This will back up your registry.

Then to clean up Add/Remove box navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
Current Version\Uninstall

& delete the programs you want to remove.

Also you can use this free program that among alot of other things will add remove programs via the "installed applications" tab.
