Hello all:

XP has told me to defragment after analyzing my hard drive because my printer is slow. When I do this, I get the following error message:

The procedure entry point CreateF/ntW could not be located in the dynamic link library GDI32.dll. Over top it says mmc.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Never seen this before, any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Have you tried Defragging in safe mode?

Yes I did & it worked, thanks a bunch.

I'm curious though, any idea what may have cuased the error?
