Iam having trouble with my outlook express 06. I cannot send message with attatchments, when it get there you cannot open it, Also when i get message and all i can see is some writing then squares with a red x in the left hand corner of the box.

As you can tell I am not very good on computers can anyone give me some help or ideas of what to do. I have contacted technical support and done everything he said like cheking my system and still nothing works.

First things to check: atachments:

Tools - Options - Security - Uncheck "Do not allow ... attachments etc"

Red X:

Often the sender did not actually properly include the picture. For
instance, in OE to send a picture with an HTML message one should go to
Tools | Options | Send | Mail Sending Format | HTML Settings and make sure
"Send pictures with message" is checked.

sorry cannot find what iam looking for went in to tool-options-but cannot find attachments you need to explain like iam a 2 year old sorry i find computers very hard to understand.

Attachments: uncheck "do not allow"; uncheck "block images"



HTML: button ON HTML (blue) click HTML Settings (green) check "Send pictures" (red)



Make sure your sender has the same settings to send.

Also under Read:



UNcheck "Read all messages in plain text"
