I recently installed Windows XP service pack 2 on my office machines along with Office 2003 but now our admin system which is a simple MS Access database mlb file takes up to 4 minutes to open when prior to this it was instant. We have a windows 2000 server on a peer to peer network connected through a hub.

This problem appears to have automaticaly resolved itself over weekend of 12 Feb 2005 I can only assume a Windows automatic update has identified and cured the problem
