I am having trouble with my Optical Mouse
the curser jumps from one side of desktop to the other opens up programs and highlights things by it self
I have tried all the usual things New batteries The latest Drivers
but no joy
Any ideas please

can only suggest that optical mice don't like mouse-mats with photos or jazzy colors
or highly reflective surfaces. best mats for opticals are plain, single-colour with a non-shiny or fabric cloth finish. As it's a wireless-mouse, don't have any electric cables near the receiver module.

Thanks pip22 will move any electrical cables as far away as poss and try again

how are you getting on now with your mouse

Hi sorted the mouse problem.
I have just upgraded my Motherboard and Proceser when i connected everything i forgot to connect the mouse so instead of using a USB port on the PC i connected it to my Tevion 4 Port powered USB HUB i have connected it back to USB Port on Pc now it works fine.

Could this be a faulty Hub or is it that Optical mice do not like powered Hubs
