I have quick launch task bar, but when I have it open, it is taking up double the space at the bottom of my screen. It didn't use to do that. Is there any way to make it smaller? The arrows show up to click and drag to make it smaller, but it doesn't work.

right click the task bar and uncheck "lock the taskbar" then try to drag it down
