I seem to have developed a problem copying to my CD writer, I'm using a Epson laptop, but when I try to write to the CD I am getting E drive not accesible, therefore unable to copy - any answers guys

Here are some quick questions to set the mood:
When did this start?
How new is the system?
Have you cleaned the heads?
Does the OS Recognize a CD-Rom in the system versus trying to burn?

unusually cannot find 'copy to cd' in picture task

Check Device manager in the System Properties for any error codes (Under the Hardware tab, Device manager, DVD/CD-ROM Drives) Is the drive removable or fixed? Some laptops allow the media bay to have different drives (my old laptops do) If you can, pull it out, blow out any dust and clean the contacts. If not, it is sounding like your write head is not working.
