It takes several attemts to boot computer from cold ending with (insert boot diskete in (A). any help please (simple)

can we have some more info please? like system specs, when this started to happen etc, any major changes in the last . .. week or so?

try telling the BIOS to boot from the HDD first, then the floppy and see if it still happens.

I can see i am out of my deapth i will have to get hands on help (thanks anyway).

Roger--- Don't give up so quick. If you don't understand what one of the techs are saying just ask them to explain. I know that inside jargon can be intemidating sometimes. They have helped me alot.

ok roger just try explaining your problems a bit more, and we'l try to help, please just give us a chance, theres no point spending loads of money on a technician who will rob you!!!
