problems with deleting write-protected files
does anyone know how to delete a write-protected file?

There's a few things that I think of. Sometimes, that just means the file is in use and a reboot is all that is needed. Other times, you need to right-click the file and choose Properties, the uncheck the box that says Read-Only. Otherwise I dunno.

Hi. I runned into that damn problem too. And after days of searching I finally found this software: Delete Long Path File Tool.
It's GREAT. You can find it here: www.deletelongfile.com

You have to pay for that program. There are free ways to do what it does so why pay for it? Are you associated with that site perhaps?
